Happy Sunday families!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and were able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. We had a busy first full week together after the break. Some of our highlights were Coding with Tale-Bots. 


Our learning intentions for this were:
  • I can give step-by-step instructions to help a robot move
  • I can use directions like forward, backward, left, and right to program a Tale-bot.
  • I can fix a mistake in my code (debug).
  • I can make a plan before I start programming.
  • I can predict what my Take-Bot will do before I press "Go."
  • I can test my ideas and change my program if it doesn't work.
  • I can explain how I made my Tale-Bot move.
  • I can listen to my partner's ideas and work together to solve a coding problem.
  • I can use technology to learn and explore.
  • I can try new things and not give up when something doesn't work right away.
  • I can take care of the tools I use during maker.

We were super excited to have seen the mural finally come to LIFE in our gymnasium. Good evening families I hope this weekend has been wonderful for you all. Wishing all the Mom's a very happy Mother's day, I hope you found some time this weekend to enjoy some time for you! Happy Sunday families, I hope you had a good weekend together, even with the snow that we had on Saturday! We had a busy week in grade 2 this week. Huge thank you again to the parents who were able to join us on our third walking trip to Fish Creek it sure was a beautiful morning.
