Happy Spring Break families! It was wonderful to connect with you all during our conferences this week. I sure am proud of how far the kiddos have come along since the beginning of the year. Wishing you all a lovely break with your families and hope you get to spend sometime together doing the things you love to do. Some of our highlights this week were in Science and ELAL talking about Spring. Our learning intentions for this were: Science: I can describe how the weather changes in the spring.  Good evening families, I hope you have all had a cozy weekend enjoying the spring snow. Thank you to the parents who have booked their online conferences already and to those who have reached out regarding them and being away. This week at school we had a busy week together. A couple of our highlights together was our Glass residency with Anna and building Leprechaun traps in Science. Our learning intentions for Passion for Glass residency (Art, Math and Science). Our s tudents were asked to plan and design an art piece with the focus of Spring in mind. Reflections I can observe and describe different glass artworks, noting colours, shapes and patterns. I can express my feelings and thoughts about glass art pieces. Depiction: I can create my own glass art designs using various colours and shapes. I can use shapes to represent my ideas in glass art. Composition: I can organize colours, shapes, and patterns to create a balanced glass artwork. I can plan and create a glass art piece ...

Good evening families, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and got to enjoy some of the warmer weather. A HUGE thank you to Coach Dave this week during our Basketball residency as well as all the parents who were able to join us for this, we appreciate you ALL! A highlight of our week together was our Basketball unit. Our learning intentions for this were: Movement Skills: I can move in different ways, like running, jumping, and balancing. I can use different body parts to send, receive, and control a ball. Locomotor and Non-Locomotor Skills I can move in different ways, like running, jumping, and balancing.
